Jane Holzrichter, MSW, LMSW, is a licensed therapist.  She has been at Horizons Mental Health Center for over 25 years and is the Director of the Child Advocacy Center and Prevention Services. Since 2005 she has interviewed over 1800 children at the CAC.  Jane continues to coordinate an early intervention program in 43 schools in Kansas, implemented in 1983.  She conducted annual training for school staff, law enforcement officers, social service agencies and mental health therapist on child abuse and maltreatment and mandated reporting laws.  The PSAP has been implemented in 81 school districts, and under her direction, helped other states pilot the program. She has co produced two prevention videos for the PSAP.  Jane is a Site Reviewer for the National Children’s Alliance (NCA).


Holzrichter holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Police Science; Bachelor of Social Work Degree and in 1999 obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work, from the University of Kansas.  Holzrichter has participated as an International and National Speaker on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Programs, Bullying Prevention and Understanding Mental Health where she was instrumental in bringing the CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) model to Kansas.  Currently, she serves on the Behavioral Science and Regulatory Board as an Advisory Committee Member.
